Bus Transportation Reminder

For the safety and accountability of all students, children must ride only their assigned buses for both morning and afternoon transportation. This helps us ensure accurate attendance, consistent routines, and a safe ride for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep all students safe.

Homework Club Starts Tuesday!

  Neary Homework Club

We will be starting the Neary Homework Club on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. It will meet on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:00-4:00 pm. You may sign your child up for one day or for both days. There is a fee of $10 per day. **Please make checks payable to Margaret Neary School**

Our first session will run from October 7th to December 18th. Please let us know if your child will not attend on days when enrolled. We cannot make up a session due to inclement weather. Students need to be picked up at the front of the building at 4:00.

These are the meeting dates:
      Tuesday (Oct 7, 14, 21, 28, Nov. 4, 18, Dec. 2, 9, 16) – 9 meetings
      Thursday (Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30, Nov. 6, 20, Dec. 4, 11, 18) – 9 meetings

We have Neary teachers who work in the Homework Club. They help to organize students and assist in homework assignments as needed. Homework club is a time for students to get homework done and ask questions if needed. It is not a tutoring program.

Forms should be turned in to Ms. Matthews (School Psychologist) or to the Neary School Office.

If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Matthews at (508) 481-2300 x62113 or jmatthews@nsboro.k12.ma.us *Scholarships are available. Please contact Ms. Matthews* If a student misses a session, a refund cannot be given.

October Spirit Day!

On Friday, October 31st, we will be celebrating Spirit Day! Students are welcome to wear fall colors, comfy clothes (pajamas, onesies, etc.), Neary spirit wear, or Halloween costumes to school. Please note that students will remain in their chosen outfits throughout the entire day, as changing clothes during school hours will not be permitted. All attire should allow for easy bathroom use and full participation in gym, lunch, recess, and specials.

For those choosing to wear Halloween costumes, please ensure they are not disruptive to student learning and do not include toy weapons (e.g., guns, knives, swords, etc.). We also ask that costumes avoid any scary or gory accessories, full masks, or face paint.

We understand that not all families celebrate Halloween, and we respect those preferences. Participation in costume-wearing is completely optional.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
