Neary SOS is looking for Volunteers!!! Here is how YOU can help...

Neary SOS Chair - The Chair of Neary SOS (Southborough Organization for Schools) leads the Parent-Teacher Association at Neary School, partnering with families, staff, and administrators to support a positive school experience for all students. Responsibilities include organizing and facilitating initiatives, setting priorities, and recruiting volunteers and overseeing volunteer-led programs such as the annual fun run fundraiser, book fair, staff appreciation events, Principal’s Coffee events, yearbook, and the 5th Grade Farewell. The Chair also communicates regularly with room parents and supports volunteer coordination. The role includes a monthly meeting with the school principal, quarterly General SOS meetings via Zoom, and optional Zoom sessions with the district superintendent. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills are key to success in this role.
Staff Welcome Back Lunch Committee (2-3 people) - Organize the lunch for Staff on Wed 8/27 at noon.
Fun Run Committee and Chair (we have some returning helpers from last year)
Book Fair Chair/co-chair
