Dear Neary Families,

As we begin preparations for the 2025–2026 school year, I wanted to share a few staffing updates with you. First, we are excited to announce that Mrs. Schweppenhauser, one of our dedicated fifth-grade teachers, will be transitioning into a new district-wide role as the K–5 Math Specialist. While we will certainly miss her presence in the classroom at Neary, we are thrilled that she will continue to support our students and teachers across all elementary schools in this new capacity. Additionally, Mr. Wallack will be moving from fifth grade to fourth grade next year. We’re looking forward to the energy, experience, and musical talents (yes—his guitar is coming with him!) that he will bring to the fourth-grade team. Last but not least, we are excited to welcome Señora Hughes to Neary as our World Language educator for grade 4. Our incoming fourth-grade students will recognize her from their time at Woodward, and we’re excited for them to continue their language learning journey with a familiar face. We are grateful for the continued dedication of our staff and are excited about these shifts for the 2025-2026 school year!
